Removing language barriers,

Removing language barriers,

 one community at a time.

Why does language access matter?

Language access matters because professional interpreting services and interpreter training are key to bridging communication gaps and improving access to essential services for Limited English Proficient (LEP) populations nationwide. Offering quality interpreting services and training for the next generation of professional interpreters will help decrease the gaps in equitable language access.

Spanish is the second-most spoken language in the United States and the most common non-English language spoken in the U.S.
The U.S. has the second-largest population of Spanish speakers in the world!
13 percent of the U.S. population speaks Spanish at home.
